Exopods // Bind Box Collectible // Toy Board Pitch

Back in March 2026 I had the absolute pleasure of taking a class through ELVTR on Toy Designing instructed by Hector Centeno. While for over a decade my main focus has been on video games, I've been transitioning into Toys!

We had two weeks to concept and develop a single toy for the class. I did what I do best and went a bit wider than I probably should have and developed a FEW characters for a proposed line of toys! I took my love of Insects, Kaiju, Bionicles, and Skylanders and came up with a line of Elemental Insects that come in blind boxes. Exopods! Each character comes with their own unique set of play features that could be used in a ton of different configurations for different types of play! Now that I have some time with class being over I plan to go back, address feedback and tighten up these toy boards in their weakest areas.
