Taffeta the Silkie | Toy / Collecible Figure | 3D Print | First Edition

The Silkies are the only flightless members of the Mothfolk. Instead of an affinity for combat magic, Silkies are drawn to the needle and thread, preferring to weave their magic into intricate armor and clothing. You can often find elegant, embroidered tapestries lining their walls for warmth and historical record as their deft weaving tells great family feats and historical greatness.

Taffeta is an Elder amongst her people. Her time adventuring is at an end and she spends her days telling tall tales to the grubs and adding to her own familial tapestry. Elder Taffeta spins great yarns while winding her own yarn, telling how she once saved the Wonderstone of legend, wielding a mighty club around which she would spool her thread. "My Threadbearer," she said, "may not be the most nimble of weapons like your pins and needles. But there's nothing more useful in a tussle than a good bit of head-knocking." And then she would wink, fingers nimbly tossing bobbins to and fro.

Taffeta the Silkie is an original design I created for our business Moonbird Workshop LLC. Her .STL is currently for sale in our shop on My Mini Factory. She was sculpted in Zbrush, Rendered in marmoset, Sliced in Chitu Box and finally printed on our Elegoo Saturn 3 Ultra. More poses to come with future releases!
